1-inch equals 1 foot wood planked scale model of a 1955 Chris Craft speed boat. I think this used to be a Dumas kit; however, I purchased an old plan set from ebay and used the patterns to cut parts on my little 8-inch band saw.

I'm not sure if it is cedar. I think it might be redwood, salvaged from an old picnic table.

Yes, well I think so. We had a octagonal picnic table that had too many rotton boards to save, but I was able to salvage some of the brace timbers to cut into 1/2" X 3/32" planks for the speed boat.
